Spacemelders coexist with formshifters along with several other species in an alternate version of earth where everything is the same except that humans never evolved. Like formshifters, spacemelders have "powers" that they use to manipulate their environment.

If you could describe Jessica with one word, you could call her a tomboy. She hates anything remotely girly and is more into sports, comic books, and video games then cell phones, lip gloss, and messing with one's hair.

She's very spontaneous, usually when her father (who I will make a picture of some other day) asks her not to do something, she goes and does it anyway. She will also jump into a situation without thinking in advance.

When Kevin woke up from a 1year coma, he found Jessica poking him with a stick (she had never seen a formshifter until that point). After a while they became best friends.
